Paint Brothers was built on doing things the right way from day one.
No shortcuts. No rushed jobs. No runaround.
What started as two brothers on the tools has grown into a tight, skilled team delivering high-quality painting work across West and North-West Auckland, the North Shore, and Central Auckland. From full exterior repaints to detailed interior work and villa restorations, we’ve worked on a wide range of homes, each with its own challenges and level of care required.
Over time, we’ve built a reputation for being reliable, easy to deal with, and consistent in the quality we deliver. We show up when we say we will, we keep things organised, and we take pride in leaving a job properly finished.
We’re still hands-on in the business and closely involved in every project. That means the standard stays high, communication stays clear, and what you’re promised at the start is exactly what gets delivered at the end.

Nick Cox
Nick’s the one making sure the job is done properly on site.
He’s big on the details and takes a lot of pride in getting things right, especially the parts most people wouldn’t even notice. Prep work, clean lines, finishes that actually last, that’s where he’s in his element.
He’s not about rushing jobs or cutting corners. If something’s not right, it gets sorted, simple as that. That standard runs through the whole team and is a big part of why our work holds up the way it does.
Nick’s been on the tools for years and genuinely enjoys the craft. He keeps things steady on site, keeps the team dialled in, and makes sure every job leaves looking how it should.
Dave Cox
Dave’s usually your first point of contact and the one making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
He handles quoting and planning, but he’s also on the tools, working closely with Nick and the team to make sure every detail comes together the way it should. What gets discussed at the start is carried through properly on site, with no gaps or miscommunication.
He’s easy to deal with, straight up, and keeps communication clear the whole way through. No overcomplicating things, no surprises, just a solid process that makes the job feel simple.
Dave’s focus is making sure the whole experience runs well, not just the final result.
