G’day, we’re Paint Brothers NZ.
We’re a family run painting team started by brothers Nick and Dave back in 2014, built on a simple idea. Do the job properly and stand behind the result.
What started as just the two of us has grown into a tight, reliable crew that still runs the same way it always has. We take pride in the work, we back what we do, and we treat every project like it matters because it does.
We specialise in residential painting across West and North West Auckland, North Shore, and Central Auckland, including full exterior repaints, interior painting, and detailed restoration work on villas and character homes. A lot of what we take on involves more than just painting. It is preparation, repair work, and making sure everything underneath is right before any finish goes on.
That is where most jobs are won or lost.
Anyone can put paint on a wall. What makes the difference is how the job is prepared, how the details are handled, and whether the finish is going to hold up over time. That is the part we do not compromise on.

Once your job is confirmed, everything runs to a clear and organised plan.
We start with a proper site walkthrough to lock in the scope, talk through any details, and make sure everything is understood before work begins. From there, the job moves through preparation, application, and finishing in a structured way.
Each stage is handled properly, with the right amount of time put into it. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is skipped.
You will always know where things are at. We keep communication open, keep the site organised, and keep the job moving as planned.
